Grit ’n Gloss is a private, appointment-only studio. During appointments, my attention is fully on the guest in my chair, which means I’m often unavailable to answer phone calls in real time. Cancellation Policy

I completely understand that life happens! Emergencies are unavoidable, and in those rare cases, this policy does not apply. PLEASE TEXT OR LEAVE A VOICEMAIL FOR CANCELLATIONS! As I am typically with a client at any given point during the day, it is difficult for me to answer incoming phone calls while giving the undivided attention I strive to provide to each and every client I have. Texting or leaving a voicemail, I will account for what time you reach out, not what time I get back to you so it will not impact the time you cancel. For last second rescheduling please feel free to use waitlist feature to expedite rebooking! Cancellation Policy Chemical Services: Cancellations/ Rescheduling within 24 hours will result in a forfeited deposit. Haircut Services: Cancellations within 1 hour of the appointment will require a fee of 40% of the scheduled service before rebooking is possible. No-Call / No-Shows: The full service amount will be charged if a card is on file. If no card is on file, the full amount will be due before booking another appointment. Thank you for respecting my time as I respect yours, it allows me to provide the best experience possible for every client. Deposit Policy To secure your appointment, a deposit is required at the time of booking. This deposit will be applied toward your final service total on the day of your appointment. Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred once if you reschedule with more than 24 hours notice. Rescheduling or cancellations made within 24 hours of your appointment will result in a forfeited deposit. No-call / no-shows will result in a forfeited deposit and may require full prepayment to rebook. Late Arrival Policy Please plan to arrive on time so we can give your hair the full care and attention it deserves. If you are 10 minutes late, we may need to adjust your service to fit the remaining time (with no price adjustment). If you are more than 10 minutes late, your appointment may need to be rescheduled and may be treated as a late cancellation depending on services booked, meaning deposits and/or fees may apply. Consistent lateness may require prepayment for future appointments. These are to ensure you get the BEST possible service and to respect your time, my time, and the client that has booked the appointment after yours time.
